How can NBALive2003 be set for two players (pc)?

How can NBALive2003 be set for two players? I tried it and I cant. I have a USB gamepad and would like to used also the keyboard so that I can challenge my brother in a game match. In live2001 (pc) I was able to do it.

All you should have to do is drag both controller icons to their respective "shadows". I'm also using a USB gamepad, and I can assure you that you can use both for a 2 player game.

yah.. u can play 2 players using USB gamepad.. well im using USB PS2 conervter and can play 2 players 
and freestyle rocks...!!

So long as you're the one on the gamepad, of course.

nope.. u can play 2 PS game pads at the time.. i just bought it last week..

I know, but I meant if one person is using a gamepad, and the other person is using the keyboard.
