making cyberface with rune's tutorial

can i use Da X-patcher's Live 01 tutorial and use it to make cyberfaces for live 03? and are the headshape files the ones that end with .o?

On the graphical side of things you can...very handy tutorial that. but the working with the 2003 files is different...
