I just started playing Live 2003 and...

I'm rather lukewarm about it. On the plus side, the graphics are great. On the downside:

a) the game only allows only one keyboard controller. What's up with that? I have to buy a friggin game pad to play with a buddy? (if there's anyway to enable a second keyboard controller, please tell me).

b) too many fast breaks. The cpu is unstoppable in the break and in order to keep pace with it and not get beaten you have to push the tempo always.

c) the shot blocking is exaggerrated. How many times in an actual NBA game does a blocked shot get jettisoned to the back court?

d) the field goal percentage is unbelievable. I'm using the Blazers in Season mode and Zach Randolph has yet to miss from the field. Three out of the top 5 field goal percentage in my season comes from the Blazers.

e) When my team grabs the rebound, the point guard rushes to the frontcourt without getting the ball. Tendency is that either my center or power forward brings the ball upcourt.

f) BUGS! The old bugs from Live '99 are back. Examples: Jake Tsakilidis is called for a foul yet the game sends Marbury to take two free throws. Another is when my brother was using the Rockets, the thrid quarter just ended then suddenly the game shows that its already the final score!

I know you guys have mentioned these already but I just have to let it out. I'm thinking of going back to Live 2000. Is Live 2001 any good as well?
