Still can't dissociate offense and defense button assign.

Tue Dec 17, 2002 7:39 pm

hi hi.

i heard it was possible to correct this incredible blunder of EA, namely associating offense and defense when configuring controllers.

so i edited the .cfg files, and changed the button numbers to my will.
it workes perfectly for OFFENSE..... but if i want for example to put rebound/block (on def) on the same button than shoot, it doesn't change anything IN THE GAME, i still have this damn ç(%*"* 'take charge' associated to the shoot button. . . . . . . ...

no need to say that it pisses me off, and that it's almost unplayable this way. .

could anyone do it ??? hoooow ???

yvaan, disgusted by EA's Dictatorship.

hey man,
yeah everybody who played the other NBA Live games had problems with it.

But we have to learn to get used with it, and it's playable, so it would be the easiest way for you to learn it...

or do you want that your specific computer configuration will be the only one in the world you can play with?

arg... and i guess these 'new' player don't even know how more convenient it COULD be.. happy are the.. .. .. you know. :?
sure i'm learning it, but goooosh, it's just so unnatural, and furthermore, it makes u waste THE precious time that would have allowed u to, for example, mooonster-block your opponent.... .. frustrating.

and yeeeah, i'd live with knowing i'd be the only one on earth playing the way i'd like....

anyway, there MUST be a solution.. they made the difference between offense and defense in cfg. files, so.............
did anyone ask EA ?? would it be corrected in the patch ? ?. . .
did they explain it at least ?..
