Bird,Magic,Dr.J wearing shorter shorts!!?

I need to know how to edit the 80's legends like Bird, Magic, etc... using DBF pro or some other software you may recommend me, so that I can give them shorter shorts like Stockton's to give them a younger appeal in their days. In addition to that, can you edit their build and hairstyle too, I really want to give Bird longer hair like he did before.

Also, I think it might work if you can just transfer some 80's legends to the 60's or 50's legends draft, that way, they'll automatically have shorter shorts. Anyone know how to do this? I don't mind messing up my legends draft anyway.

if you do, all you need to do is to make the shorts in the buni file in
nba live 2002\render\xteam.viv --> 80away.fsh and 80home.fsh as short as the ones in the 50, 60 and 70's file. I don't think its possible to do that in DBF pro or any other database program because its not the programming, but in the graphics files instead.

But i don't know how to make team jersey patches, so I can't try out your advice. But I think it is possible to transfer some 80's all-star to 60's legends draft and putting them in the 13th position. There's a Kareem-Abdul Jabbar patch i've recently downloaded, and the guy who made the patch instructs how to put Kareem into the 80's legends 13th position. I've got to contact this guy and ask him. Unless someone can tell me now that it wouldn't make a difference in the look of basketball shorts even if you put an 80's all-star into the 60's draft.

For now, does anyone know how to edit the hairstyle of Larry Bird through DBF editor, what column name is the looks/hair option. And what are the DBF first and last number equiliavent to the first and last number of the hair choices in the create player settings.

I mean don't you think that the 80's legends wear the wrong shorts. This is something that EA sports has made a mistake on since NBA 2001! Certainly they should make a correction patch for it once and for all. Nobody in the 80's ever weared long shorts!! Plus a correction patch for Bird's higher should be made as well. He should have long drippy curly hair.

I mean Bird's hair not higher.
