Gravis Xterminator Pad settings for freestyle

Anyone playing with this pad? I'm trying to figure out the freestyle moves. Anyone have any tips on what the best settings are for using this function?

i have this pad...this is only single analog right? you cant really do full freestyle with it...thats why i bought me a nostromo dual analog pad yesterday...took a few games to get used to but now my man stevie franchise blows to the rim with regularity...imo u gotta have full freestyle in this game or you cannot compete against the cpu's freestyle.
