Hands up defense

i just want to know how to do that move where the defender puts two hands up while defending the guy with the ball..

I've done it a couple of times with my sidewinder but i don't know what i pressed....I went to 1 on 1 and i can never seem to find the right buttons...

anybody know?

Its the take charge button but you guy will not do it if shooter not in the process of shooting or if the defenders feet are moving, when moving the defender does the step up take charge.

but when i press take charge he puts his hands on his private area...
i want to know the move where he puts too hands up in the air...

It is the take charge button but your guy will only put his hands up in certain situations like I mentioned above.

if you have a joypad with right analog
simply hold the analog in UP position when defense
