HELP!! GAME CRASHES ONLY DURING FRANCHISE!!

I have 2 seasons with NJ and ORL and whenever I go to load the game I have to play it crashes and gives me a message saying "This program has performed an illegal operation...".

When I play Exhibition matches or Season matches the games work though so I don't understand the problem.
