I can't dunk the ball

A few days ago when I play de game, my players can't dunk the ball, they jump to the basket but the ball goes out of bounds ?¿?¿ what's the problem?? I unnistall and re-install the game several times, but nothing happends, please tell me what to do.

by the way I use a microsoft sidewinder and windows 98 SE
