Help!

Postby Ruff Ryder on Thu Jul 17, 2003 1:37 am

NBA Live doesn't start up. The whole screen turns black like its gonna enter the game but then it just exits out.

Also which folder do i extract the patches to? The render folder or the render folder thats in the main folder?

If you want to install custom art patches, make sure you have custom art enabled and unzip the art files to the appropriate folder. For example, if you have an update for Kobe Bryant, extract the files to

render/xplayer/kobryan

About your other problem: have you installed any patches or new hardware drivers?

I have installed patches(i have read the sticky on gamecrashes) and got rid of the ones that are too big. I haven't installed any hardrive drivers.
Do u think it could be my video card(i'm using a voodoo 3)
About the folders there are two render folders. There is 1 in the main folder and just a 1 seperate as a folder in the NBA Live directory.

The one in the main folder is the correct one for custom art.

Try disabling custom art and starting the game. If the game loads as it should, then you most likely have a corrupt custom art patch somewhere.
