Mouse trouble

I'm experiencing problems with my mouse cursor. It won't move.
I freshly reinstalled windows xp and also installed optimized nvidia video drivers, but every time i install nba live 2003 and start it the mouse cursor just won't move. Does it have anything to do with these drivers?
Any ideas?

It shouldn't have anything to do with the video card drivers. I remember NBA Live 2003 had some issues with USB devices including mice and the official patch fixed that up but from memory that only affected Windows 98 users. If you haven't installed the patch it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to do so.

Later edit: Could you tell me which patch you were talking about? I'm new to this site and never actually used patches to my NBA2003.

This one here. You might also still be able to use the "Check for Update" shortcut in the NBA Live 2003 program folder in the Start Menu.
