Freestyle can anyone help...please

a have a sidewinder gamepad 10 buttons control...and i dont get how i can use the freestyle without the analogs please someone explain it to me...thx

Moved from Live 2004 General Issues.

You should be able to setup limited freestyle control in the Controller Config menu. When you configure your controller, there's two screens - one for the buttons, one for movement/freestyle.

your microsoft sidewinder works???? how did that happen in nba live 2003????

im having big problems on this gamepad. nba live 2003 can detect it at first run but then it wont be detected in the middle of nowhere. And i cant update my nba live 2003 in the easports site.

I also have a sidewinder (but I use my logitech cordless wingman now) and you can only use freestyle when holding the ball, by default you hold down jab then move the d-pad around.

yah i knw the limitations of nba live regarding freestyle. but im pissed off that nba live 2003 has a bug on microsoft sidewinder and i cant even update the new patch onthe website.too bad.
