getting offensive reb.

When a player get the offensive reb. , he will shot the ball immediately without landing on the floor. Do anyone know how to avoid it becuase l want to pass the ball out to reset the offence especially in 4th quater.

when he gets the off. rebound press the pass button immediately. but its scary to have a turnover at that time.

I think it has to do with how long you hold the jump button for, I believe if you just tap it it the player will come back down, either that or if it's tapped he will alley-oop it.

Also, if you hold turbo and press jump/rebound while moving towards the hoop, your player will try to tip it in (or attempt a put-back dunk depending on the player and your position) rather than simply grabbing the rebound. As Colin said if you just tap jump/rebound, you should just grab the offensive board.

I don't have any major problems getting offensive rebounds.

Whenever I shoot, I quickly press the change player button, then I am in control of whoever is nearest to the basket. Then I jump and... voila! The rebound is mine!

I can use turbo when I jump to tip the ball, but I'd rather not use it so I can grab the ball and dunk it in, or pass to some teammate...

That's what I do, I usually get about 40% of all the rebounds from the cpu's hoop.
