The game was pretty close to realistic till the fourth quarter, then I(the suns)kinda went nutty with the threes. The computer refused to guard both Majerle and Ainge, so I hope you see I had no choice.
Besides the threes at the end, here are some other key notes about what went right and wrong with this game.
-The turnovers for Phoenix would have been much lower but I got a little antsy when the Hornets got a slight lead in the second quarter.
-I almost only ever gave the ball to Cedric Ceballos on the fast break, so his .900% comes from the fact that all his shot attempts were dunks.
-Majerle was averaging 42% going into the fourth with only 10 points.
-I have since bumped up the foul slider, and I am now averaging about 25-30 free-throw attempts per game.
-The T-bar flippin' hates me
-Kendall Gill took way too many shots, has something to do with the set plays being geared towards shooting guards.
-This is not a war against Islam, we are bringing democracy, whiskey, sexy to the oppressed people of the world.
-Majerle's style of defense can be duplicated almost perfectly in game. If you keep contact with you're opponent, the difference in speed no longer matters.
-Inside shots never miss, you have to block them. Barkley and L. J. both have overly high FG% as a result.
-Mourning didn't attempt a single shot in either the second or third quarters.
-If you'd like to compare my game stats to the actual averages of the teams/players, or need stats for past teams for any reason, I highly reccomend going to the APBR and downloading their statistical database. You can find the link in the NBA links section of the main NLSC page.
-For the Suns I ran Ballscreen for the starters and Turnout while Sir Charles was on the bench, the Hornets cycled through Hawks, Sideline Triangle, Ballscreen and Box.

Before I put the player ratings, a few notes about anomolies and special circumstances.
-Arbitrary ratings = arbitrary stats, my ratings are based on real numbers from real players using full season stats.
-Very few of my players have steal ratings higher than 70, only the top stealers such as Payton or Mo Cheeks have the lock symbol in game. There are no 99's in this catagory.
-Oppinions suck, my player's speed, quickness and strength are determined by the players height, weight, and age/years pro, not on how much I like a given player.
-As mentioned in one of my previous posts, a player with a dunk package of 1, 2, or 3 will not dunk, no matter how high his dunk rating. Players such as John Stockton have high dunk ratings on my rosters because they do a lot of layups, and rarely ever miss.
-The majority of players on my rosters have ball handling ratings below 75, so far I haven't figured out a more fair formula, but will accept suggestions. That said, you can keep turnovers reasonable by being choosy about who holds the ball, and how often(that is how real coaches do it any way).
-Are you realy reading all of this?. Dude, that's messed up.
-Muggsy Bogues and Kevin Johnson are among the top passers in the game, not all point guards will have 99 passing and dribbling.
-Larry Johnson and Sir Charles are the all-time best passers in the power forward position, they always had a high number of assists and great assist-to-turnover ratios. Do not expect other power forwards to have pass/dribble ratings over 70.
-Players were rather conservative about 3-point shots prior to the ninties, my older teams won't have very good ratings in this regard.
-Players with 50's in both jumping and blocking can still block your shot if you do not get open enough.
-My formulas are based on stats per minute, bench players can matter.
-My ratings won't fix everything that's wrong with the game, but they will compliment the things they did right.
These are the NBALive ratings, not the raw ratings, so they can be used with the in-game create-a-player/editor for the PC, XBOX, PS2, Etc.
Ratings are in the following order: Jersey #, Position(s), Name, Height, Weight, Overall, Field Goals, 3-Point, Free Throws, Dunking, Inside Scoring, Offensive Rebounding, Jumping, Strenght, Quickness, Speed, Passing, Dribbling, Offensive Awareness, Defensive Rebounding, Stealing, Blocking, Defensive Awareness, Endurance, Hardiness, Primacy, Scoring Area, Dunk Package.
