You need to be very creative to keep a Franchise site.
Why??
'Cause you only control one team, and you can only post things of your team, and that's boring. :)

yes they are boring. I was one of the franchise site creators and i had 3 sites. One was Lakers and people said that it was one of the top 5 sites but after a while, nobody was visiting i thought to myself "why am i waisting my time for other people to see my shit and now i just quit it and i reather go hand out with girls then do that crap"

at first its kindda fun to do and visit those franchise site, but after a while you lost interest. and its hard to maintain a site and play at the same time and the game play in LIVE 2003 really really suck. that's why i stop playing this game and just play Madden 2003. i hope this year the EA group can improve this game.

I think if franchise mode was more in depth it would give the site creators more to write about as for my site i was really into it to start with but after awhile it got alittle boring maybe becuase im hooked on total club manager 2003 at the moment.

yea this guy is right, it is more fun making it than people visiting it because you feel like that, that is a real NBA team and makes the game more interesting. But after a while it gets boring because you put up so much effort and people don't even visit. Thats why i quit it and i think that it is a big waste of time.

Rather go fuck a girl then play NBA Live 2003

Franchise websites are not a bad idea per se, but as has already been mentioned, are somewhat one dimensional in that they only offer coverage of the team you are controlling. Secondly, there's no interactive feature. The reason I was sure to add the Franchise Issues section to the forum is that since Franchise Mode first appeared back in NBA Live 2000, everyone's wanted to compare Franchises, ask advice about trades, and I guess generally brag about their team. :) That's possible on a message board, and more fun for everyone. The website doesn't have as much lasting appeal...and I'm sure as most of you who run them have found out, fairly time consuming to update.

That's enough! Rusty's post was not intended to be malicious, it was just a lighthearded joke. Comments about people not having social lives/being geeks or losers etc. will not be tolerated.

Yea I know Andrew. I appologize. But here in Dever: Engelwood and south part of denver. That kind of joke can get you killed so i don't take it as a joke. Some people on these forums think of it as a little joke while in the getto streets its hard.
