Database editing

Postby Blazerguy on Tue Jan 14, 2003 2:21 pm

I just downloaded DB Commander to edit the rookies of my Franchise.
How do I edit the rookies globally on certain categories? Do I use a SQL statement? How do I write one? Also, which databases do I need to edit (since there are several players.dbf files).

Also, does anyone know what coefficients were used in DK's tweaks as a part of the NLSC roster update?

Thanks for your help!

You will need to edit the players.dbf that is in the appropriate saves folder (the one that contains your saved Franchise).

Thanks Andrew! Any ideas how I actually edit the database using DB Commander? I can open the dbase and manually edit the values but cannot figure out how to gloabally adjust the rookies.

Thanks!

I've never done that in DB Commander, I've always used the Mega Modifier in the Toolkit to make global changes. Sorry I can't be of any more help.
