out-of-bounds, throw in

Postby flixotide on Mon Jan 13, 2003 8:18 pm

Am I the only one who is sick of this? when I have to throw the ball back into play, all my team-mates are way gone, so I am forced into a turnover or a 5 sec. violation.

Sometimes my team mates actually stand out of bounds to receive the pass from a throw in.

I mean... I mean... no.. this can't be true.. the same problem was there since NBA Live 95...

I haven't had this happen to me much...my main gripe is that when your CPU teammates decide to run a fast break after you grab a defensive rebound, the C and PF are the ones left to bring it up the court, guys I don't usually like to trust with ballhandling duties.

On March Madness 2003 you can run out of bounds plays you should be able to do that on Live 2003 at least a box play or ball handler when you call ball handler yo auto pass it to your best ball handler

same problems here, also when for example shaq is NEXT to me, i press left it passes the ball all the way to the other side of the court. And when i a player wants to grab the pass at his left, the cpu makes the steal at his right. It's sooooo fake.

And when the cpu runs a fastbrake they make like 70% alley-oops.

but the best thing is, is that the cpu shoots almost 80% fgp, just amazing.

Yes, that's a common problem as well. Direct pass is not always effective either, my players sometimes throw it away even when using direct pass over a short distance.
