Primariness???

Postby crimson_stallion on Sat Dec 21, 2002 4:25 pm

:?: Hey guys, I just got Live 2k3 on pc and have noticed the "primariness" rating or something like that, when creating a player or editing. I managed to work out in the past some ratign i didnt get, but this one i cannot. Is it how much a player is relied on by their team, i.e. how much of a primary player they are? I heard soemwhere that there is a ratign which determines how flashy a player is, and that for e.g., the dunk rating determines how frequently the player makes thei dunks, while some other feature determines which types of dunks they can do. Since i cant find that rating i thought maybe this was it, but i don't think so as stocktons "primariness" is around 88. Could somebody please help me understand what this is for, and how it affects a player when games are played/simulated. I appreciate your help. :?:

it makes the players want the ball more, shoot it more, score more for their team

Primacy determines how often the CPU will use a player on offense - basically, it's used to recognise a player as a go to guy, and determine whether a player will take a lot of shots.
