problem with microsoft sidewinder game pad...........

hi, i don't know if this is already been posted but, im still puzzled about my sidewinder keeps dissappearing when playing a game..i've installed the latest hardware updates and i have to keep quiting the game to the desktop and starting over again..another question is that can i use 2 sidewinder game pads playing nba live 2003??......

I have experienced the same problems as you do. I have 2 sidewinders and everytime i go into the game the 2 sidewinders would come up in the controller selecting screen. But if I choose the second one it will ALWAYS disapper like a minute later in the game. But my first sidewinder would always work. Always sometimes NBA live doesn't even reconize any of my sidewinders. But how I get that to work is i just go to the control panel and in the Gamepads and let the computer know that the sidewinders are OK.
I really can;t help you but just want to let you know that you are not alone.

hey thanks man...but u see once one of my sidewinder works the other doesn't but in the control panel i do have 2 sidewinders that say OK...and i don't think there's even an update for this coz i got win XP and automatically detects it!!

by the way my specs are:
P4 1.9
512 RAM
SB Live Value
ATI Radeon 8500LE 128 MB
Windows XP
