Live 05 on Win7 issue: blank screen with working sounds

Hi guys,

I wanted to check out Andrew's latest 05 update so I decided to install the game again on my pc. I bought the game 4 years ago and it ran fine on my system with these specs:

Windows XP OS
intel core 2 cpu 6300 @ 1.86GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM
NVIDIA Geforce 7600GT

The only difference now is that I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium OS (and updated my video card / direct x drivers). The problem is when I run the game, I only see a blank (black) screen. I know that the game is running though, because I'll hear the "EA Sports.. it's the game", then the intro music, then the main menu music. The mouse pointer even shows up, but other than that just a blank screen with music in the background. I tried setting compatibility to Windows XP to no avail.

Any ideas? Does this game actually work on Windows 7?

You need to update your drivers... i had the same problem, i have a GeForce 8500 GT and updated the drivers, it worked!
