The Greatest Lighting Of All-Time

Postby steelaz305 on Mon Jan 10, 2011 2:31 pm

How's it going y'all. It's been a minute since I last posted something but I have something great to give everyone. I came across this Chinese website that I often frequent for NBA Live related patches (the chinese are the best patchers) and I came across this amazing lighting. It's supposed to replicate the xbox version of NBA 2K5 and in my opinion it does a great job of it. Below is the picture of NBA 2K5, then the replica lighting and finally the link for the lighting. If the link goes down just let me know and I will re-up.

PS - I've been looking for some lightmaps that can really make my courts look extremely detailed. If anybody has some just give a holler.

Here is the link to the original page: http://www.56nba.com/bbs/read.php?tid=97174

I'm sorry to inform you that everything you see in my first post is not mines, I literally posted all the pictures you see from the chinese forum. You would probably could take the long route and join the forum. As far as the courts, I got mine from the NBA Live 08 download section. They have some of the best courts available.

you can dunk through the backboard in any of the NBA Live PC games, its just a matter of tweaking the dunk.act so you can/can't.
Opinions are my own.

I tried this in 08 and it turned out like this:

Image

Does it really have to look that way? Or is it just the lighting file isn't compatible with 08?
