You can use courts, but only the ****crt.fsh, ****crt.ebo and ****crt_vram.fsh files. You cannot use jerseys from 08 as they have different number files, they'd need to be properly converted/re-imported to be used in NBA Live 2005. I believe shoes are compatible.

You can't use NBA Live 08 aiacts with NBA Live 2005.

Pink textures indicate missing textures (or in some cases, reflection files). You can simply turn off reflections if the missing/pink reflections are bothering you, for faces you'll just need to locate updates for those players.

There have been lighting updates, I don't know if any of them are specifically like the intro video though. Unfortunately a lot of those updates have gone missing over the years, I don't have any working links handy.

All logos can be used without causing crashes, but they won't necessarily look right. Between the logos included in the NLSC updates and some of the standalone logo updates I've released in the past couple of months, all the logos for NBA Live 2005 have been updated already.

If it's for NBA Live 2005, back up your original aiact and place the updated one in the folder. If it's not for NBA Live 2005, you can't use it.

So long as you make a backup, you can always try it out and restore the old file if the update causes any problems.

I tryed it but game crashes.I am sure it is for nba live 05 because jeloooo posted it at this forums.I used translater and it just translate to do not use something but i do not know what.Do you know some chinese or other guys who can translate read me file?thanks

There are various free translation websites out there, like Babelfish. You might want to give that a try. Alternatively, jeloooo might be able to shed some more light on the situation, if he's the one that sourced it.
