If they didn't take away Free Agents all the time.

Like Hell, I'd have signed Trajan Langdon and Isaiah Rider in my Dynasty, why'd you take them away? What purpose does that serve?

Taking things away is not good. Like my handcheck button, or my fake button. It leads to problems and bitchy fans like me... Only if ppl complain should you remove a feature.

Hmm.. a breaking backboard animation would be a cool feature to ADD. Maybe they could take away that gay shot that no player ever does, where he jumps behind the backboard for a jumper.

As far as individual free agents go, it's a legal issue. EA have been able to squeeze in various free agents the last couple of seasons, presumably as they've been included in the game before the cut-off date and been waived before the rosters were finalised.

He has definitely not retired. Even as recently as the All-Star break he was looking for a team to take him on.

Here's an Idea...Create him, put him in the FA pool, patch him, and then sign him.

I've done that for the PS2 version but it's just not right somehow because the Create Player controls are so limited.

Unnecessary. Don't bicker over such small things.

So would I. They would look much better in the roster updates if they were already in the game and could just be signed, but like I said, EA can only include players currently under contract, and they push the limits of that rule when it comes to the free agents they include.

To include more free agents, they would have to approach each player individually and pay them for the rights to their name and image, same as what they do for the Legends.

This would then cost a helluva lot of money, and we all know that Canadian money is less than the U.S dollar, so that would prove a problem in itself, since EA Sports (NBA Live) is made in Canada (from what I remember.) :D

Slam magazine hang a lotta shit on Rider, and in an interview with Stern, Stern mentioned the disasters of the Draft or something where Lenny Cooke and Omar Cook's name came up- it was about playing in Europe and been drafted too early.

But how old is Stern...? He was talking 'bout P Diddy and Mary J. Blige- most old people at that age can't remember if they got underwear on their heads or not!! (HE also got about 20 throwbacks  )

I hoope that smile means you're joking because lack of money would never be an issue. The president or w/e of EA Canada made the most money in Vancouver this year (18 mil.)
