What I Think Should Be Added or Modified in NBA Live 2005

Extra Game Modes
Three-Point Contest : I know alot of people that liked it and were
and were upset when EA removed it. Also adds another Two
player game mode into the game.
Dunk Contest: With the new Air-Freestyle Control, I think that
this would be a good mode to implement that feature. I know that
it was boring in NCAA Basketball but EA could make it interesting
by adding things and players to unlock or specific players gear
and things like that.
GM/Owner Mode: Would give a fun mode to those of simulations
and wanting to control there own team. Could easily make it
exactly like the one in Madden 2004 and it would still be
awesome. They could also add to it by putting in a Create-A-
Team feature in with it to deepen the mode.
Street Mode: Featured In NBA2K3, where you can play 2 on 2 to
5 on 5 and select and 2 to 5 players from the league to be on
your team. Good to play against your friend and create your own
all-star team.
Speech/Animations
Speech: Be able to add your own speech to the game using
the SOCOM headset for PS2 or a mic on your computer to
add the announcements for created players or add your own
catch phrases to the game.
Animations: Supposively this has already been added but getting
motion capture from actual NBA players, so not every
crossover is the same for every player. Also add everyone's
unique shot form from Tayshaun Prince to Walter McCarty.
Created Players/Draftees
New, Revamped Faces: This is a no-brainer and should
definately be done by EA so all your created players don't have
that same ugly look, same with draftees in Franchise
Mode.
Better Ratings For Draftees: It is realistic when most draft
pics don't have that good of ratings but its sad when the top pick
in your draft is only rated at 61. I think EA should maybe add
where the top pick would at least be a 69-70.
Speech: Should have each player that is every drafter, their
name should be in the database where it can be said in the
game so it adds realism instead of just saying, " Number 22
drives to the bucket." It just doesn't sound like an authentic
Basketball game.
Revamped Create-A-Player: Should add more features to the
CAP. Should be able to chose where your eyes, nose, mouth are
located on your face. I also think they should implement the O-
Edit feature in to the CAP to edit the head and body shape of
your created player.
In-Game Features
Momentum: Would actually make home court advantage mean
something. Was in March Madness 2000 and was a great
feature, and it added a sense of realism where if you went on a
streak, the opposing team would take a time-out. I think it
would be good.
I know alot of these won't happen but they are just ideas, if you have anymore post them and I will add them.
