able to hire/fire coaches
coaches retire, coaches quit

say in dynasty mode some player like Shaq retires, a few years later he could become a coach

plus make your own dunk

I really like the idea of making your own dunk...
ea really needs to improve dunks in the game and i think that making your own to a point would be nice.

this way there could be a coplete allstar weekend - 3point contest, dunk contest and rookie game...

but I think it will be boring...others might like it
anyways if they do the dunk contest and the 3point shootout then yeah they should add the rookie game

add more adjusted shot animations when driving to the hoop ('coz there seems to be only one). They should copy a page out of the RUN & GUN arcade game regarding that adjusted shot (up and under) moves.

Bring back the fake pass and also make it available while on the move.

A more user friendly customart mode for the PC.

bring back the refs in the game like in live 2000 'coz they add more realism to the game esp when calling offensive fouls

create a dunk mode using dunk templates including landings and afterdunk reactions.

For end game heroics make automatic replays for buzzer beaters.
