oh ok, yea i think he just did it by draft position coz it was just a mock up roster sorta thing

Frenchy2k3 request I have for your release of your next roster patch
1. Higher Marcus Williams pass rating (Make #1 for jersey)
2. Correct the players numbers (Use college number if you don't know the number they will use this year (Add gear they wore the year before)(PM me if you want me to do this)
3. Change carmelo's left arm to a sleeve (Not what you have now)
4. If you gave anyone high socks to make it look like tights, get rid of them. I read an article awhile before that stated the tights are now banned.

also, rookies ratings are too high compared to other nba players

eg Josh Smith = 59, and Shelden Williams = 66

In the new roster the players rating will be established based on the summer league result (for example shelden is now 58 and marcus is 85 in passing)

ok sounds great, can u give me the ratings for say, the starting five of the hawks? (i just wanna get an idea of ratings)

Sounds much better. Make sure it matches how they did in college. Example (JJ goes 0 for 5 in 3pt in his first game. Since he was good in college his rating should be around 70s or 80s)

It has never crashed during Dmode so please tell me that it does not on your CPU

for the most part, they r pretty good.
but the rating are out on quite a few players.
the rookies are rated to low ( i knw i said they were to high last time) but some of the rookies who are about to step in and be go to guys are eg. Foye, morrison, aldridge, thomas

also, shawne williams is the starting point gaurd for the lakers, and the real shawne williams has jason williams potrait.

a big overated player i noticed was mike sweetney, he was rated higher than randy foye, jamaal tinsley, lamarcus aldridge, chris kaman, eddy curry, raja bell and channing frye
another overated player is kobe, he is great, but definately not 99, hes more like a 96
steve nash needs a higher rating aswell

overall, most rookies ratings need to go up, proven nba players need to go up, overweight powerforwards from chicago need to go down, and the rosters need to be fixed up.

PS, wats up with with the 92 dream team? they have like 50 players?

Could you get rid of the dream team. If someone like me that doesn't have the art tries to play with them, our game crashes. I looked to see how high you had Rudy Gay dunking. I saw 50. Then I noticed that all players you have been creating, you only update the ratings the rating machine does. You are still missing ratings for dunking, dribbling, and more. Naybe this will help http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ftopic39593.php . Also in the players.dbf there is a thing for the dunk package and density which is the amount of potential. Make JR Smith #22 or something. I don't think he can be #23 on the Bulls. The rookies near the end are in the free agents. You need to create Will Blalock (the last player drafted). You have a player call JR Pinnock. It should be Danilo Pinnock. I have a team called the NBDL, but it might not be from this. I don't have a Estiban Batistua from Atlanta cyberface, so he has a pink head. Include it next time. dynasty mode crashed about half way thru the season, something to do with salarys. i was using the bobcats

why are the faces of your newly made rookies colored pink?

The faces are pink because in the final version we are going to provide the cyberfaces so the look really close to actual life.

frenchy2k3, I really liked how you updated the records. I never could figure out how to do that.

Ok more ratings problems. There are about 5 players with a 99 rating in freethrows. Okur is a 99 in field goals. Do a fantasy draft and get the first pick. Sort the column and see if there are any players high up there that don't belong there.

I think I have found the origin of the problem, I (luckily) kept all the steps of my work.
1- update players & teams rating : OK
2- add rookies : OK
3- update salaries using Excel: crash

I sent Flite a previous version of my roster to see if it is ok on his CPU.

Regarding the remarks :
Correct players Nb : no Pb
Update salaries : Well I'd like to (hope it won(t crash the Dmode)
Correct rookies rating : will try too using the link given by RSox
Remove DT92 & NBDL team : OK

I am sorry but I won't be able to work on it next week cause I will be on vacation

Rate the rookies is possible but updating the salaries will be very difficult (except if you have asuggestion)
