I intervened on game which went to overtime (I started playing in the overtime period), and the minutes set for overtime was 12 and not 5. This happens everytime I intervene at OT, so I tried playing in the fourth quarter and forced the game to go to overtime. It was still a 12-minute overtime.
Has anyone else experienced this? Please help me out. I'm using NBA Live 2005 for the PC.
Yeah ... I have seen this too. I simmed a season and at one time I intervened after the fourth. The overtime was 12 minutes. I haven't pushed a game to overtime yet with playing throughout, so I can't say if its only when intervening.
this has been discussed already, but i feel it is definitely a huge bug that needs some more consideration and discussion.
"The Point Guard Scoring Onslaught"
Every game I play in my dynasty, the other team's Point Guard rips me up. And these aren't great PGs, either. Most recently, Bryce Drew. And before that, Jannergo Pargo. These guys are dropping like 30 points. Nothing can stop them. It's very hard to block them for some reason. They just lay it right up and in.
This is something that certainly needs to be addressed through an offical EA patch, if it can be corrected.
Actually I haven't experienced this yet. At least no unusual high scoring by the opposing PG. Devin Harris of the Mavericks dropped 11 on me, Steve Francis 17 and Sam Cassell 20. Nothing too unsual I think.
SG's are something else, but that might have something to do with who I play on that position. JR Smith, David Wesley and Junior Harrington don't seem to be equipped to defend opposing SG's well ... Michael Finley dropped 31 on me, Cutino Mobley 25 and Latrell Sprewell 29.
So I'd say its rather a matter of who you have on your team at the PG position than the opponent. I have Baron Davis running my point, he is a good defender, so opposing PG's don't get as much chances to score as they might with your team. SG is another matter entirely ... like I said, above mentioned players don't seem to have what it takes to defend on that spot well.
Something I have seen which is a bug to me ... or at least should be changed to the way it was last year. Screenshots out of replays. Last year, when you clicked on the camera symbol, the toolbar went out for a second and the screenshot was made. So when you looked on the shot later, the toolbar wasn't visible. But this year the toolbar stays in the picture ... which looks quite dumb.
This whole game sometimes looks like an unfinished console port ... but then again its tons of fun to play. I hope they release a patch and fix some of the glitches.
