There was one more thing . . . oh yeah. Patch Update:

All jerseys for this patch are completed, except the Islanders. All that's left to do is the Islanders jersey and preview, and to fix the bugs. Thanks to everyone for voting in the poll, but I think I will disagree with the majority and release these jerseys now, that way it will be roughly half and half if I do one other patch (about 15 now and same later). I hope to release before Tuesday.

Inside are 16 NHL jerseys, and a court that ressembles a hockey rink.



I will be taken requests again for the second patch, but I will eventually end up doing the rest of the jerseys no matter what. School starts tommorrow for me so the next patch will take longer to complete, as I will not have as much time as I've had.

nice stuff...the rink is a nice touch. Is there someway u can add some kind of scratched ice texture in place of the wooden texture? This is prolly one of the most original Live patches ive seen in a while...great job

c0nr4d That's a good idea . I made the court really quick, so I didn't put that much effort in. I think I will create a new floor texture that looks like scratched ice (not that hard, just make a white square and scratch it up with grey lines), and I'll upload that one too.

Everyone else, thanks for the comments. As this is my first patch, I'm very happy it went over well.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I have very little time now to work on patches. School started and I'm playing football, and I don't get home until 6:00 every school day, and then I have homwork and such, and then go to bed at 10:00 'cause I have to get up at 6:30 for school. I try to spend as much time as possible on the site, either browsing or patching, so I will do my best to finish tasks as quick as possible. I also have to leave time to watch TV .

Right now my order of things is 1) a sig that has been requested of me to make, 2) the scratched ice surface, which I attempted last night and had some problems with it showing up (nothing major ), and then 3) a sig for myself. I will do my best to work fast, and to those who understand, thanks . Look for the ice surface within a week.

could you tell me how to change the ice court to the 50's court because i don't like it to replace the all star court.

If you want to replace the 50's court, rename the three files to 'as50.whatever'. You do know it replaces the International All-Stars court, right, not an NBA All-Star court.

Now that I think about it, don't replace the 50's court, because it doesn't have a three-point line, and I don't know how replacing it with a court with a 3-line will affect it. You're better off to replace the 70's or 80's, just name it 'as70' or 'as80'.

This is the ice rink v2. I re-did the floor texture and changed the colours of some lines to make it more realistic. It's not done, I still have to add the texture to my 'centre court' logo, it's plain white, but what do you think? Too many scratches, not enough ... ?

Yeah, I thought maybe it was too dark. What do you think about the scratches themselves? Do they look alright or should I use a different brush?
