My Favourite Players To Use In Live 05

Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Mmmh

i like to play with rafer alston, Shawn Kemp ( i made him with cyberface all that ) ect.

My current starting five ( playin with sonics ) looks like this:

C Eddy Curry

PF Shawn Kemp ( all time and still my favourite player )

SF Tim Thomas ( i like that guy )

SG Penny " i call him anfernee " Hardaway

PG Rafer Alston ( A bit and1 in the game )

The ratings aren´t that strong but they are playin nice
Mr. Tim Thomas is standing all alone at the 3 point line a lot of times and he hits the threes. Dont know why but he got a 3 point percentage of 49.1 %

I am playin on Superstar right now.

Shaun Livingston is very good for his overall rating
Rashard Lewis is very versatile.
Bowen is a sick defender just like in real life.
Kwame Brown is solid
Oh God! I'm at least semi-literate!

i also want to mention zhizhi, who can shoot a mid range shot everytime, and...john barry. he's very energetic, steals and shoots 3's. he shot 4/5 from 3 for me the other day...

Alston is just great... He can steal, dribble, pass and shoots three well... Can also get the occational lay-up in there too. He's probably my favorite "none-star" in the game. He's just a complete package to man the point. Though he's only 6'2"...

Kemp in the mid nineties just has to be sick... The Reignman was still alive and kicking it back then... He was one of the most dominating guys out there. Those were the golden days for the big guys... You mentioned Rodman and Kemp... There's Ewing, Robinson, Olajuwon, Mutombo, Shaq, Webber etc. All were just great inside presenses that were to be taken seriously... Today it's like Shaq and Yao and who??? There are no centers after him... Like Eddy Curry is the third... And he ain't that good. There are good power forwards though in KG, Duncan, Jermaine, Webber, Kenyon etc. Centers are a dying breed... The league really could use guys that would be as good as Ewing and Olajuwon were back then...

belive it or not

eddie gill is super good in this game.

when jamall tinsley got injured in my dynasty he got alot of minutes and averaged 18 points a game for 4 games.

i was shocked how fast he is and that he can shoot in this game.

he is only a 46 or 48 i cant remember which.

I'm not sure, I screwed that team up pretty bad... I ended up trading Dirk for Jefferson and a pick, just because I wanted to try and draft this 7'0 SF... another one though is Bobby Jackson. He's awesome to use, I get around 4spg with him (Y)

YAO MING!!!! blocks blocks and more blocks, he is averaging 16 blocks per game in a 3 minute quater, pretty good, he can block from anywhere around the person... he doesnt even get much height from the ground

A great defensive player to have..

yeah the lack of the cancel button in the trade option menu sucks. i was just trying out some guys and i got r.miller for j.howard. but in the end i like the trade result. i'll never try to trade again unless im serious in this game.

Lorenzen Wright is quite n1 to play with.
Gets the boards very well and can score from the post.
Hes about 13 ppg and 13 boards per game supporting KG in my T-wolves dynasty.

During the first off season I made a pick up from the free agents and boy has that guy won me over extremely fast... I'm talking about Larry Hughes! Man that guy can steal the ball, dunk it after it or give an alley-oop pass on the break... I just had a monster game with him yesterday as he scored 30 points, 13 assists and 15 steals... He's just sick. I won the game by like 40+ points, everyone was just hitting everything... Haven't played a game like that in Live 2005 before.

I'm already thinking about toning down the stealing slider, but others don't get that unrealistic numbers even with good stealing ratings so I'm still a bit in between on the decision.

Hughes really rocks... Gotta love him for making that return to the Warriors :D

well hes leadin the nba in steals averaging 2.82 so it might be possible for him to go for 15 and top kendall gill.

I love Tony Parker and Tim Duncan, it's great when we play with them. Manu Ginobili is also very cool, I like Yao too. :) Shaquille O'Neal is easy to play with, I also like Garnett and Wade. (Y)

Some of you might not like this, but whatever: Darko Milicic.
I traded for him in my first season with Seattle, and I think it was a great trade even though the player I traded with had an overall rating that was 9 or 10 points higher. I'm using him as a back-up PF for Lewis and Radmanovic and he's a real god complement (you can't really be much more with the rating he has).
I just love playing with him, it becomes more of a challenge to have him on the court and try to get him to play great, and it's not all that difficult. On defence he's quite good actually, getting quite many rebounds and has a few blocks as well. On the offensive end it's a bit tougher though. When I try to post up a bigger man and do a few moves, almost every time it ends up with him being blocked, so you need to play very good if you want him to get some points, and that is one of the things that makes it so fun to play with him, trying to get him to have a great game. I can't wait until the playoff's to see if he can do some nice performances. And also getting some dynasty points so that I can finally improve his ratings somewhat...
