UPDATED: LiveDynasty.com Forum- new forum, reregister

Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Another idea is to have the 'legends' 2005 trading card set 'locked' until you submit so many pstat files...(which you know you just can't sim overnight...well you can but we'd all know that you're 'cheatin')

I think the Live Cards will get interesting once NLSC or other CF created players get Team MVP'ed and rookies that actually don't exist in the NBA start creeping up. (In my 2004 dynasty I have about 5 Computer Gen rookies that I'm really proud of...they're 'my boyz' that have taken the team to the finals)

HUSKIES: Anyway, Huskies....thanks for your help...Please note though on the action side of the card, the picture is actually a background image so that I can enable text on top of that. My suggestion is to pull out some of your old bball cards and see how they set things up.... there's actually some real cool designs out there.

I'll register when I get home. It looks great. I can contribute some Live cards templates and maybe a livedynasty banner or two.

Looking real good fellas!

Well, instead of a free hosting server.

I can host LiveDynasty.com a forum like the one here.

If you'd like?

WEll, I wouldn't mind that at all for obvious reasons, the forum board is Donatello's baby so we'd have to get authorization from that guy. One of us will let you know James.

i'm just a bit against that idea since stuff has already started on this board- but that's just me being afraid that the people who have signed up already will be mad if they have to sign up again. lol i'm just weird

if we can get this set up ASAP (like in the next few days), i'm all for it (Y)

And you can convert your posts to the new forum here.. if it is a phpBB you have to convert the posts, it's possible but a load of work.. or just use invisionboard and copy the whole database.. users won't even have to singup again then :)

we are introducing a new way to post dynasty stories...well to be more precise, the same way, just split into sections.

we've introduced the "Rookie Dynasty Board" and the "Pro Dynasty Board". Everyone can start out posting in the Rookie section, and if your dynasty is consistently updated and is getting good response from the community, you can either apply for the Pro board, or be selected by the moderators.

This will serve 2 great purposes for the Dynasty community--

#1- It will encourage Dynasty posters to produce a "better read".

and

#2- It will help the Dynasty section not become so cluttered, so that Dynasties that are consistently updated with actual content and game recaps, etc, won't be covered up and buried by 10 new posts about new dynasties, or "I won my game by 234 and my record is 50-0 now" posts.

This is not meant to offend any casual posters, as your Dynasties will still be accepted with open arms, this is just a way to seperate the more "serious" dynasties so that they can get a better response from the community for their hard work.

So- this is an open invitation to all "Dynasters"

As always, we are not trying to take away from the NLSC, we are merely trying to expand this great community. Patchers have their own sites, why shouldn't Dynasters

EDIT: I've started my new Magic Dynasty. I'll only be posting it over there, so that the NLSC board doesn't have yet ANOTHER dynasty clogging things up. See it here (and sign up and leave me some comments please :) heheh)

Also, Sbhzmafia has got his Cavs dynasty going over there, Wormy10 is starting a new one, and LegoTP and Match_66's are both coming soon (Y)

Wow so it's like the development league of Dynasty Threads...that's pretty cool...and then later on you can be boosted to the 'majors'

That idea I like...once I get some projects out the door, I'll definitely be doing another Dynasty posting. But it takes a lot of effort for me to maintain that level of humour I had back in the 2004...perhaps I getting a bit curmudgeon(sp)
