I've already got a dual analog gamepad, I bought it in preparation for NBA Live 2003. Freestyle with the keyboard is just too limited, and by the sounds of things the dunk contest all but requires a pad with two analog sticks.

You MUST by a controller! Your game will be so much better!

And when you go out to get one, DO NOT, I repeat

DO NOT

buy a Logitech Dual Action! It looks tempting but it is crap!! I suggest a ps1/2 controller and an adapter from Radio SHAQ.

Anyway, I played Live 2004 like that last year trough the Burner, but it wont slow my game in anyway or something?

No it shouldn't. DVD-ROM/burner drives are more than adequate.

You just named the worst cards (almost) out there  That's just a waste of money :P

If you don't have large budget consider cards like the 9600 Pro and XT or a Geforce FX5900XT is very cheap too (and much better than the 9600 Pro or XT) ..

Well... These are consider middle class(note: not mainstream) card... And base on my observation... Anyone who still has an integrated graphics card nowaday is either short of money or he(she) doesn't play games much...

If these people are looking to buy a graphic card (usually is their first time)... I won't recommand them going for these kind of cards...

Just my opinion... Stick to something cheap for the first time...

700MB...does that mean it will be one CD?

Wasn't NBA Live 2004 on 2 CDs?

I`ll have to buy a new computer too...
The specs are too high for my old computer.

Also, i will buy a new graphics card and an analog stick. Can anyone suggest me one?

Thu Aug 26, 2004 4:28 am

i believe the name is

nyko air flo

its something to that effect. i am pretty sure on the nyko part. it looks exactly like the ps2 controller, which is why i bought it. hands down the best pc controller imo. there is a thread about this elsewhere with some more suggestions if you want to search for it(i am lazy)

I got that one the Logitech wingman cordless. It's absolutley marvelous. It's a really good shape and fits very well in my hands. It does need 4 batteries every 6-7 months since it's cordless but that's not much. And the cordless thing is handy because if the game pisses me off I can go smakc it on the couch to relieve my frustration without dealing with a cord.

Edit: Found a pic of the back

How exspencive it was?

If you're located in the US, you'll have to pay around $50 orso. That's the listed price on the homepage. I'm sure Best Buy or Circuit City should have it for a few dollars less.

Logitech Cordless Rumble Pad. (U.S.)

As you can see on the following site, the Cordless Rumble Pad has not released in the Netherlands. I'm sure they would've had it up on their site if they did.

Logitech Gamepads. (NL.)

I got it for $45 CDN a couple years back, so it's certainly possible that's it's only $30-35 USD some places. There's no way I would've paid that much for it. No gamepad is worth that much.

Unless it has a fancy cooling system that kept your hands cool and comfortable without the stickiness a close game can bring. That would r0x0r.

Apart from the processor, the specs are the same as last year (and I'm guessing the finalised specs will be pretty similar). I'm pretty sure that's the typical (but not maximum) installation size plus space for file swapping.

Yep.

I can agree with you there, I'd say go with a Dell or Sony.

OR, Alienware(if you want to spend large amounts of$)
