how will the referee's act in nba live 2005? will they be like nba live 2004 and stay out of bounds and stay their forever so fake or will they be like real life and blow whistles, run up and down the court, and do other stuff like they do in real life.

there werent even refs in 2004...

There were referees in NBA Live 2004, along the baseline, at the tipoff and in various cutscenes and occasionally along the sidelines (if you were inbounding the ball). They weren't quite as visible as the referee that appeared in NBA Live 2000 though.

If you notice the jumpball referee disappears after throwing the ball up.

Indeed he does, and the referees on the baseline aren't always clearly visible or at least they don't seem to stand out as much as the referee in NBA Live 2000. But they are in the game.
