They do have the Eastern and Western conference all-star teams.

A 2000/Millenium/"Zeroes" All-Star team would be nice, but the decade isn't over yet, and all of those players are still active whereas nearly all of the players on the current Decade All-Star teams are retired.

that doesn't mean it's the allstars from the year 1950, 1960, etc. . it means from 1950-1959, 1960-1969, etc. so you want an allstar team composed of players from the last 4 years? seems kinda silly. it wouldn't be much different than the current east/west allstars, except maybe the addition of john stockon, mj (from his sad wizards days), etc....but still....not a very important addition.

something better, in my opinion, would be a rookie team and sophomore team, and also an 'international' all star team, featuring all the foreign players in the NBA (yao, nash, etc)

Of course, a custom team with some more generic, basketball-orientated team art would allow us to create 2000/"Zeroes" All-Star teams of our own choosing fairly quickly and easily...

hm....i think it was live 97 that i had on super nintendo.....there were custom teams you could make, and change the city/team name....the logos were a chef, a rabbit, a crab, a jackhammer.....it was nuts. you couldn't play them in season though i dont' think

NBA Live 97 still had the Slammers, Jammers, Blockers and Stealers. NBA Live 2000 had all of those logos that you mentioned - on the PC you could also use them in Season/Franchise mode.

C Shaquille O'Neal
PF Kevin Garnett
SF Tracy McGrady
SG Kobe Bryant
PG Jason Kidd

C Dirk Nowitzki
PF Tim Duncan
SF Latrell Sprewell
SG Ray Allen
PG Baron Davis

UT Ben Wallace
UT Sam Cassell

You have to look at their careers starting from 2000. Dirk was a nobody in the 90's, and Sam is just starting to hit his prime at 30-something, Tracy McGrady was a 6th man in the 90's, and who the hell was Ben Wallace in the 90's?
