shoe patching problems

Hi guys,
Please can someone help me. How to change player shoes with DBCommander? I tried to change the numbers in the ORIGHSHOE and ORIGASHOES but nothing's changing when I load the game.You may wonder why I don't change it within the game, that's because the game sometimes crashes when I "navigate" through the 999 shoes of my patch. (I'm using the shoepatch required for Beijing 2008 Mod)

In NBA Live 2005 onwards, you've got to edit the HOMESHOE and AWAYSHOE fields in appearance.dbf.
