Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.
Fri Aug 20, 2010 2:52 pm
I have completed the installation of the NBA LIVE 2005 game, done pasting the exe files, however, i still was able to encounter some errors:
* NBA LiVE 2005 has encountered a problem and need to shut down... or something like that
* The game would automatically be closed
Any light on this would be greatly appreciated...
thanks...

Does the error report contain any other info? That's a standard Windows error so it's difficult to say offhand what the problem might be. Also, please post your system specs (memory, processor, video card, etc) and we'll take it from there.

The standard window error message "NBA LIVE 2005 has encountered errors and need to shutdown... " or something like that...
Here's the specs:
P4 2.0 ghz
512 mb ram
32mb video card
s3 pro savageDDR (driver)
Thanks...

I think video card is bad.

But the minimum requirement for this game is 32mb for the video card and I have colleagues who were able to play the game using such video card... any other ideas?

Only the one that's currently available on the website. When I release a new roster, I will be sure to announce it and make it available to everyone via the website. I cannot say when that will be so in the meantime, please be patient. Pestering me about it not going to make it come out any quicker. Your post was also completely off-topic; don't do that.

Not all 32 MB cards are the same, it's possible that NBA Live 2005 doesn't support your particular card. You could try updating the drivers though, if you haven't already.

Why were you pasting .exe files?
Sat Aug 21, 2010 2:52 pm
Here's what I did, after installing... I run the game then the error popped-up... after awhile, I just thought of copying the exe in the cd and replaced the one in saved in my pc... doesn't make any sense as this is just the same exe's, however, it's worth to try... it didn't work... I even run the official patch of nba live 2005...

Give updating your drivers a try but it may be that NBA Live 2005 doesn't support that card.

It's more likely an issue with Windows 7. Have you tried
Virtual PC or any of Windows 7's default compatibility options?
