NEW title SCREENs

Postby Mel_Fox_76 on Wed Jan 27, 2010 5:09 am

Hi folks!
I have made a new title screen for those who don't like the Original with Vince Carter. As you can see, mine is with LeBron James, surprisingly my favourite player;-)
So if you like it, you can integrate that screen into NBA Live 2004 by using EAGraph-Editor.
Just import the file ''xtitle.fsh'' to xfestscr.viv in GAMEDIR\renfe\ENGLISH (or the language of your version, for example FRENCH, GERMAN, ITALIAN,...).
Afterwards start the game...

Moreover, I've got a lil picture to show where all of the 39 pictures-parts are... 0000 + 0001 are 256x256 pixels, 0002 to 0008 are 128x128 pixels, 0009 to 0018 are 64x64 pixels, 0019 to 0038 are 32x32 pixels. The difficulty is to cut out the parts perfectly. I’m using an old Adobe PhotoDeluxe 3.0-software to do so by selecting the option ‘canvas size’. All in all it takes a lot of time, but as you can see a professional look can be done…
Just a lil hint for others...

Enjoy my stuff

You should be able to just place it in the render folder.

Nice work, Mel. :)

If CustomArt is enabled, files like that should be able to be just placed in the render folder rather than importing into the .viv files.

May be u don't know the nfshtool...
u necessarily need this awesome tool to extract the whole pictures inside a .fsh-file (necessary for team icons, screens, jersey no., etc./not necessary for shoes, faces, jerseys themselves). The tool creates out of the .fsh-file a folder with all pictures inside, plus one index.fsh file (u need that one to create a new .fsh-file).
So u can change things (.bmp files) in the extracted folder. As I showed above, the title screen is divided into 39 different pictures. So u have to change all 39 to get a new screen as described above. If you just like to change the year, for example, you should edit all pictures around the part you like to change (look at he picture above with the no.), I think pictures 0011.bmp, 0023.bmp, 0024.bmp.
Wish you success

Nu graphic patch:

Loading screens before game is starting. Usually you c information about date of the rosters and afterwards all NBA team logos. With my new patch there's only one loading screen during the first seconds.
To use mine you should integrate both .fsh files with EAGraph to ''yourGAMEDIR''(for example c:\programs\NBA Live 2004)\renfe\''thefolderofyourlanguage''(for example english, french, spanish, german, italian,...) into the xfestscr.viv file. Another way is to enable CustomArt, but you should ask Andrew how to do it.

Enjoy it

C ya

If you want to use the CustomArt method, more info can be found here:

Hi Andrew!
hmm....i think we both had some good interpretations of someone. The language deficit can't be missed, but I'm not sure about the tone... obviously sb knows what he likes and what he doesn't...

That's what the report post button is for. ;)

kelvin23, I understand that English isn't your first language but requests like that do come across as somewhat impolite. Better phrasing and the occasional "please" would go a long way.
