Howdy y'all,

benn a while. probably won't mod 2k26 much, but the gameplay is fun (to me, at least)

2k26 scoreboard textured....



there's a few old scoreboard makers wandering around.... anyways, I sat down and put a texture on the 2k26 scorebug_broadcast .... then i got bored.... hahah

probably wont make many scoreboards this year.... but if y'all have notes, you can put them in this thread.... the paid 2k25 scoreboards are nuts... if you wanna make free scorebaords, ask your questions here and i'll stop by
and answer them....or not, hahahahah

edit: I don't know anything else about the 2k26 mods\goeey_scenes\scorebug_broadcast.iff ... i just put a texture on the bg_mesh thingy... then got bored. know nothing else about the scoreboard.

If you get the chance, could you take a crack at removing the dunk meter that shows when you pull back on the right joystick?

If not, no worries, I know these projects are tough.

I'll glance around .... not sure where it'd be... maybe vetmin would know ... dunno if he/she is around

edit: maybe it is in gamedata.iff --- can be exported mod.exe -notextures -nogeometry gamedata.iff .... will look at it sometime ... or you might find it sooner

i made a mod by putting a bracket in the scene files.... but it makes my game "hitch" every few seconds .... i don't think it is very stable... or i edited too many scene files

if you open up gamedata.iff ... you can decided which "indicator_xxxxx.scene" which indicators you want to get rid of. then add a bracket : https://i.imgur.com/AQDCOGC.jpeg

it seems to be the same meter as jump shooting... so, if you eliminated the indicator_shot_meter_release, etc etc scenes then you lose both dunk meter and jump shooting.

i didn't look at it too much, but if you open gamedata.iff ... sort by modified, you can see the ones i added a braket tooo: https://i.imgur.com/AQDCOGC.jpeg

I did notice there are 3 different shot meter animation files: https://i.imgur.com/mMJCoGA.jpeg you can mess with them, i didn't try that.

colors probably are not perfect. colors probably not close, haha... moslty cause i got them from this reddit link, but i had fun making it. I'll use it this year... because i'm tooo lazy to change the court out. haha
I'm sure folks will make much better ones soon, but use it if you want.

scoreboard progress picture


in scoreboard_broadcast.iff ---

replaced "FLS" text with tricode (LAL)
changed tricode color in scene ... (FLS_Label)
changed tricode font in vcuielement ... (FLS_Label)

unfortunately, tricode is white. don't know the hex font code for "colored tricode" .... didn't look into it much

Question for anyone paying attention to this thread: should the score be white or team color? maybe i'll just add option for both.

Can move the team colors in hex under VertexBuffer.db15b11673560b56.bin ... i actually don't know if the scorebaord is editble in blender ... would be easier in blender...

hopefully bonus text moves easy... haven't tried

oh, note.... might change the foul count "0,1,2" ... to team record... wonder if that can be changed

anyways, progessing scorboard attached to the post ... as well as hexworkshop colormap and bookmarks... folks who need it can use it... in case i wander away

I'm glad there are people working on the scoreboard. This year it's too big and intrusive.

bleh .... the team color meshes are related to the jersey color.... bleh... didn't realize

it pretty cool .... great for scoreboards that don't have a white tricode... just use logo ... , unfortunatley, they turn white for white jersesy and black for black jersey (trailbalzers)

can turn the tricode and score black... except for trailblazers cannot see score... but one team screwed up aint to bad... that's like 29/30 0.96% ... "A" grade in us schools hahahah
... ... bah... probably just shade the white like the picture... or add noise

there is a home_jersey_color and a home_score_jersey in the scene.... shoulda been paying more attention... wonder how to apply it to the FLS_Label... perhaps something in the scene... i dunno

of course, the fouls Label used to be colored until i changed them to tricode ... anwyays, scoreboard attached to this post. made my own espn texture... not as good, but i've never been great with textures.... old one was vetmins... his/hers' texture was superior... anwyays, y'all make a better texture, if you want

scoreboard is good for logo and team color---no tricode... will have to figure this sometime
