Which tool is used for importing things

Postby devonlimp425 on Mon Jul 18, 2022 6:39 am

So i only know how to export things out of the game but what tool do you guys use to import things? I wanted to replace a WNBA logo with a current one but dont know which tool to use to do it. I have the logo file and all. I heard their are like 3 other logo files also (large, medium, tiny) but where do i find those? I have my logo that i want to place the current one with. I've searched youtube and watched some videos but they seem outdated and didnt know if the methods used still apply. Any help would be appreciated.

not what i was looking for but thanks. I know how to download and install mods just like in the video. I would like to know how to replace a logo in the game, WNBA to be exact with the team's old logo that i got online? I got the team Iff file which is logo308.iff. I made their old logo i downloaded off of google images a DDS file and all. How do i import it into the game?

??? Except for the Hook and plugins for it (almost all made by looyh himself), all mods are the same. It's all just a matter of putting replacement files in your Mods (or equivalent) folder, which are then dynamically imported into the game via the Hook. Just rename your logo file to whatever the default WNBA logo file is and throw it in with the rest of your mods.

7-Zip is used to replace images. https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
Notepad ++ is used to edit TXTR and RDAT files. https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/
Intel Texture Works is used to save DDS files. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en ... lugin.html

Use 7-Zip to open the archive. Extract the DDS file and sometimes the TXTR and/or RDAT file. Replace the image. Save the DDS file correctly. Edit the TXTR file if needed. Import the DDS and TXTR (& RDAT) file back in to the IFF file. Always backup the original file first.

Read the following posts about editing. 2K20 - 2K22 is the same.
