I just started tinkering with them a few days ago.
I was working on converting arenas from previous 2K16 and 2K17 but it was a lot of work after reading through all the coding. I've temporarily postponed conversion efforts.
2k17 and 2k16 arenas both have slightly different architecture to their arena.scne files than 2K18.

hokupguy I always liked what you did with stadiums of basketball video games... your hardwork inspired me to create stadiums for NBA Live 2004.
I hope you inspire some guys there like me too, as I don't own NBA 2K18

no it worked straight out of 2k17 i didnt touch it , just added stuff to it. I got it from your extra gyms from 2k17 that you uploaded. The others from your upload (the hs gym and 2 others) didnt work for me.
i removed the screens and underneath is this, anybody how to get rid of this?

TGsoGood wrote:All.model files have to be used together with the.scne file. Import the.scne file into blender and it loads up the corresponding.model file.
That will not help with shadows though.
How did you remove the screen?

I was having trouble trying to remove those shaders underneath objects as well. I want to say its some type of lighting or shader file but I havent been able to find which it is.

TGsoGood wrote:In the past we could open dds files with nvidias dds plug in tools because they used dxt5, dxt1,etc.
Many of this years dds files use BC7 compression. You can only properly view those dds files using intel's dds plugins.
Also you must use Photoshop CS6 or Photoshop CC to use intel's dds plugin tool.
I used photoshop cs5 for many years to mod 2K games, this was the first year I had to switch to CS6 so that I could view all the DDS files properly.
TGsoGood wrote:That is the only tutorial around as far as I know.
What dds file are you trying to open, maybe I can give it a try.
I usually just open them in photoshop CS6 with no issue.
