I am curious because I would like to get NBA 2k18 on steam, but I want to create my own expansion teams. Do they work with scorebug replacers such as the ESPN Scorebug? Has anyone tried this?

ESPN only works with the 30 NBA teams. The other scoreboard mods should work.

IT works because it uses the original logo files of the game.
The ESPN scoreboard has own created logo files, which replaces the original ones. For the ESPN I only made the logos for the actual 30 NBA teams.
