Should I start a new "Start Today" and fast forward through the offseason, start a new Start Today" with the custom roster before starting one up, or what? I'm just unsure of the process of doing this. Lol. Thanks in advance.

You can use the roster directly into MyLeague or start a new Start Today although there is a contract bug when using Start Today wherein some players would get $0 and I'm sure 2K is done fixing this game

It's the way this roster and all 2019 will be. None of the contracts are accurate and really can't be until free agency is complete.

Okay I have a problem, I have installed the mod and started a new career with the updated roster with Suns. Ayton was on the team, it was all okay, then the season ended and I got #2 and #3 picks in the draft, traded the second pick but as soon as it's my turn for the third pick, it automatically drafted Ayton without me doing anything, then I advanced to the Rookie Signing section and Ayton wasn't there; continued and got into Team Option section and it crashed without any errors. How can I solve this?

By the way in the first season, 2018 drafted players and 2017 drafted players were seen as Rookies so don't know if anything wrong there.

You need to add a one more year for all 17-18 Rookies in Moficated Player.

Okay step 1: Download this(Click Me) and extract it to your NBA 2k18 directory.
After extracting it all, your NBA directory should look like this.


Step 2:Download the real 2018 draft class file. Click Me

Step 3: Extract all the files inside the waigua folder into your waigua folder in the nba 2k18 directory.
Like this:


Step 4:Now just download prax's roster by searching for prax by online ID and you should be good. (or search for bluejaybrandon if you want to use the draft class).

He's not going to be able to help you. It's not his cyberface, he just compiled it. Try to redownload the pack. I fixed Lonnie Walker in the last update.

I have a save where it’s Game 4. The game will need to be played or sim though. Obviously you’ll have to do the draft and check the coaches. I’m not in front of my computer and can’t reme if I updated that already. I also downloaded the real draft class 2018. If someone tells me how to upload it I have no problem trying to do that. The save is PC.

Just to be clear I was in no way attempting to provide anything to anyone who doesn't have the game legally. It's $8 on Steam ffs and if they can't afford that they have bigger issues than a draft class. Just feel bad that people in the community don't have a their own save file before the finals concluded. I love recreating what is happening in the NBA today and it sucks that there is a glitch that is interfering with people's gaming experience. I made the suggestion here because from what I can tell with regard to mods this is the place to make that suggestion. I have zero interest in taking credit for your work as I have pointed out I have referenced you when people ask on Reddit and Operation Sports which draft class they should use on PC. Playing this game is a hobby and a nice stress reliever from a long day. Nothing more than that mate.

Yeah, the contract values are all sorts of messed up in this roster. Hopefully these can get fixed for the free agency update. Tons of players have $0 contract value that shouldn't, which means they can't be traded in MyLeague mode. The roster is basically unplayable in its current state, which is a bummer cuz I got hella hyped when I saw this.

Is there a way to change the active roster with this roster during the offseason? So, what I want to do is go into a save file of mine that is after the draft of 2018 but is just before the moratorium/free agency period and change the currently used roster so that I can have the updated rookies and LeBron on the Lakers. I think this would be the only way of avoiding the expired contract in MyLeague problem when using this roster, right? But the problem is that, is this even possible?
