Guys I don't know if I should post it here, but I'm having a problem with Cheat Engine and 2k18, and I don't know why, because it worked perfectly with 2k17, but this year I've tried all the CE tables that have been realeased and it never works and it's very frustrating.

I'm kinda new so I don't know how to attach a screenshot of the problem, but basicly with the ARENAS table instead of "Type: String[10]" and "Value: f000" I have "Type: Binary:0->idi" and "Value: ??".

Can someone please tell me what do I have to do to fix it?

Every time a patch is released you have to update the cheat engine table. If you backed up all the.exe files, use the one from 10/13 and the cheat table will work

But, from what you've said I get that ,since I bought my steam copy last week, I will need to find other method to copy players or edit team names, right?
Or is there anyway to download older .exe versions via Steam?
Sorry for basicly shitposting but I don't know any other site or people to ask about this stuff.

I've been extracting some logo files this evening (chiefly stuff like this year's 2K Pro-Am logo), and I was having some trouble opening the DDS files. After a bit of searching around, I found this plugin for paint.net:

With that installed, NBA 2K18's DDS files are opening just fine. Just thought I'd post it here in case anyone else is having issues opening them. No renaming required; just install the latest version of paint.net, make sure it isn't running while you install the DDS plugin, and then you'll be able to open the files as before.

So there is no problem to open now dds. The issue is that I can't save the new image properly... It doesn't show in the game or it crashs... What am I doing wrong ?

After saving your file, you need to rename it from .dds2 to .dds. And that's it

I don't know how you can get it but what are you trying to do?

I'd like to make a roster based on your Unlocked Teams roster, in wich I'd replace the historical teams and hidden teams with ACB, Euroleague,Eurocup teams, also some teams from CBA, PBA to make something like a World Roster i guess, and the all-time would be replaced by national teams

It was working fine, then suddenly not. The archive headings show, but there is no data loaded. I reinstalled the explorer and verified integrity of game files through Steam; still not working.

With this method, you don't have to switch modded folders to swap full mods
