thanks man. i always try to look for photos with the highest number of pixels possible for reference so that i could get the best results. i also try to mix the original texture with the edited one in order to get some features right, these could include some scars, moles etc. however, when it comes to facial hair, if there are no good photos, i would just use the original texture and just make up for it with the normal map. hope i could help. if you need anything else, you could pm me.
