Real 2k19 Roster - Kawhi Leonard Portrait

Just take your time. This and draft class will probably have me play 2K18 even after 2K19 is released

That really is the goal; to make 2k18 sustainable past 2k19 depending on the advancements in next year's game. This roster will have full implementation of the real playbooks and SimWorld ratings. The tattoo updates, portrait updates, and hair updates are something 2k doesn't even touch each year so hopefully this will be authentic. Plus if 2k19 is light years ahead it can all be ported relatively easily.

I'll be releasing this project team by team for the 2019 season. Completely re-worked attributes, tendencies and signatures. Added portraits and tattoos. Lakers are up first.

That is correct. The rookies are also based off those ratings as well.

Will you release it team by team, or will it be a full release, with all teams + tattoos etc completed?

I guess it is what people prefer. I was going to do a team by team release.

Captured some Suns v. Magic today with both rosters updated. Obviously free agency will shake up these rosters a bit but this was more to show how the game plays. It's not perfect but I do feel like there are noticeable improvements. I'll upload the CPU v. CPU game in a bit. It's kinda neat to see Ayton battle Bamba in 2k18. It's a tedious process so not gonna say a release date (especially because free agency will change everything). I'll be adding rookie portraits when possible. I can't promise they'll be great, but at least they should blend in during the quick screen wipes (just don't stare too long lol)

Oh man I love rosters that utilize ratings below 70.

I remember one for I think 2k14 that had a lot of players in the 40s-60s and stars were 80+, really made them feel more dominant.

Plus, with the current ratings it feels like rookies and a lot of potential role players never get used/picked up and just sit in free agency for your entire MyLeague.

Couldn’t agree more. This roster is looking to fix all that. Superstars will actually feel transcendent.

I remember Derek Fisher was like 62 in like 2K10 or 11, yet he was a starter. Cool ratings system. Can't wait to play with that roster.
