Has anyone ever had a player's forehead be fine when it is relaxed but then when it wrinkles it turns a completely different color?

Was it just the hihead.SCNE or did you also include his 3D hair?
I can send you my Kemp file so you can try and figure out what went wrong if you would like.

So here's what happened.
I was able to finally get him to show up in game. But his face texture is a tad light (I did what you recommended goods). He's also looking off to the left for some reason, and his arms are black every time I go into edit player.
And no, the files that you had didn't rename the hihead model file to player. I did the editing in notepad as instructed.

If you rename the .model file inside of the note pad then you must also rename the actual .model file itself.
as far as skin tone being too light, you need to copy the "Scale" and "Offset" data from a 2K17 face.iff that has the actual skin tone that you want to use.
For the black arms, try changing the wingspan and putting it back. I think exiting edit player and going back in works also.
If none of that works the add the "mask" data shown below the highlighted data

What we've encountered is that with conversions, for some reason their eyes don't move around in the edit player screen, but they work completely normal in a game. That's been the case in 2k17 and 2k18.

I have the player show up but the jersey is almost a cone getting pulled halfway across the court. The eyes look to the right and may need re-positioned but this is so promising. Hopefully further progress is made.
