Having trouble making first portrait

So I am trying to make my first portrait but ran into some difficulties trying to get it implemented. I followed the tutorial made by Dee4 but instead of paint I am using GIMP. I made the dimensions 1024x1024 but for some reason when I export as a DDS file the dimensions change to 1534x1024. When I export as a PNG file the dimensions are 1024x1024.

Also when I actually import the portrait into 2K Explorer my image shows up on the screen but when I assign it in 2K the portrait is completely gone. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I attached the portrait I made of Derrick White. Its not the best but it was bothering how Bryan Forbes and Derrick White had the same portrait.

After importing your portrait over the other one in 2K Explorer (where you see your new portrait) you need to select "file" in the top left hand corner, and save the file from there into your modded folder. After that, you need to assign it to the player using the Limnono Modifier (if it's not just over writing an existing portrait that the player already has,and you want him to have your new one).

Yeah after I imported my portrait I saved the file into my modded folder and assigned the portrait through Limino. When I cycled through teams and came back to Derrick White his portrait was gone. I even tried to use your template and assign that portrait. It was still invisible. Not sure what's happening. Maybe I can post my DDS image file and see if it works for you?

Thanks bro. If you want you can use my portrait.You can just convert the PNG to DDS via online converter. I couldn't upload my DDS file on my post. I really want to know if my portrait works or not.

next time try using 7zip and drag the dds file directly into the iff.
don't use the export function in 2k explorer.
