How different is 2K18 modding to 2K14

I'm finishing up V1 of my NCAA basketball mod and have ordered a new gaming PC that will be able to run 2K18 so I would like to start helping people out on this.
Just wondering if its any similar. Mainly the courts because that's what I'm best at
