Reduce MyGM games per season?

Hello,
I have been using the 1.09 Cheat Engine to try and reduce games per season in MyGM. I cannot seem to change the value properly so that it shows in game (trying to make a 14 game/29 game per season)
I do note that some of the changes have to be made in the setup options part but even then it still reverts to an 82 game season.
