2010-11 Roster



The base from this roster is from TurtlePower3477 so major credits to him. This roster will be edited to reflect the 2010-11 season, so this includes the vitals, attributes, contracts, tendencies and even badges which will all be tweaked based from SonicMage's spreadsheet. The spreadsheet however is still somewhat incomplete since there are definitely some aspects in this game which cannot be measured with stats so don't expect this roster to be laser accurate.

Notes:

• Instead of using a created player template and plastering a cyberface on it, I've made sure to use the filler players from the classic teams instead and used them for the missing players instead. This is to stop commentators from blurting out the CAP nicknames. Bench warmers where exceptions for this since the number of filler players are fairly limited.
• Jerseys and additional retro assets are not a priority for me since I have no experience in those areas and this roster is already taking up a massive amount of time. So any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
• I plan to convert the contracts from the 2010-11 Season into the 2017-18 Season to make up for the salary cap increase (which is precisely around 70.72%). I'll implement these once the roster is complete.

Update:

• Finished adding 14 players for each team from the 76ers to the Magic.
• Finished with ratings and badges until the Heat.
• Done the contracts until the Bulls

Thanks for the compliment dude but these aren't my ratings and just as I said on the top post that its all Sonicmage's ratings.

Played Bulls vs Sixers, scored 54 with Rose. Pretty good experience, but slightly lacking coaching point of emphasis(Iggy scored almost nothing while Lou Williams shot 18 times and made 5). But overall i like what i saw.

Glad you liked it man , I haven't edited the coaching staff and the point of emphasis yet nor have I edited the tendencies just yet so the CPU won't behave the way I envision them to.

Update:

• Finished with the ratings and badges until the Lakers.
• Done with the Rotations, Tendencies and Hot Zones for the Sixers, Bucks and Bulls. Feel free to test them in-game to see how they play out. Will finish their signatures tomorrow.
• Also did the coaching staff for those three teams.

This roster is promising to save NBA 2k18, atleast for me. Can't effing wait!!!!!!!

That is bizarre. Its up there at the moment from what I can see on my end. Must be an issue with the servers or something.

It was a bug on the servers. It's good now.

Can you update first post with what's been done?

Just beat 6ers by 30 pts differential using Bulls. 160 total points but the stats were realistic. It's just that Bulls are too good on defense tho very limited in offense showcased by 95 points scored. That is around the average of what they scored IRL. Rose was just unstoppable, Deng abused Speights and Noah manned the defense. Asik was just toooooo slow

Are you going for start of the season roster or end of season?

Overall very pleased with gameplay. Now just have to wait for Heat/Mavs/Lakers/OKC

Glad you liked it! And how was the game shooting-wise by the way? I did some simulation runs on MyLeague (5 MyLeagues to be exact) and the shooting percentages (which were averaged from those 5 MyLeagues) were way too high for the teams I were testing on (76ers, Bucks and Bulls) as I had guys like Lou Williams, Holiday, Rose and etc. shooting 40%+ from 3 which is not accurate. And if it plays well then I'm gonna have to focus now on simulation results. And yeah I'm going for the opening season rosters since I like to run some what-ifs like if Melo never got traded or if Caron Butler or B-Roy never got injured or if the Spurs beat the Grizz on the 1st round and etc.

I shot 45% from the field and 6ers shots in 30s. But yeah, Rose was 2/3 from 3pt land. Small sample size but still.

Update:

• Added players until the 14-player minimum from the Nets to the Pistons, Spurs and Trailblazers.
• Finished with the ratings for the Nets and Spurs.
• Corrected the jersey numbers, college details and accessories from the Cavaliers to the Mavericks.
• Completed the tendencies for the Cavaliers and Celtics. You can play as these teams although I haven't touched the coaching stuff for them yet.

I remember back in the day doing an association with them and my starting 5 was Gilbert Arenas, Adam Morrison, Gerald Green, Kwame Brown and DeSanga Diop.

Gonna get to relive that amazing experience again thanks to your work

• Finished with the ratings and badges for the Nuggets, Pacers, Spurs and Pelicans.
• Partly finished with the Raptors and OKC.
• Completed Hot Zones from the Cavaliers to the Nets.
