OK, some new immersion stuff in the beginning (parachute packages for fans).

Some animations I haven't seen before, mostly related to hustles and celebrations.

Looks like some displeased players, maybe more techs or complaining about calls? Saw some technical free throws there as well, so perhaps we'll really see more techs given out.

Each of the last 4 years, when the first trailer for a new installment comes out, I go back and watch the Phil Collins 2k14 trailer. Makes me sigh a little bit everytime.

Pretty slick trailer, as usual. Looks like you'll be able to elude players who have dived for the ball by jumping over them. That's pretty cool if so. Hopefully you don't lose speed or momentum when chasing loose balls. All too often in NBA 2K17 I'd be holding down sprint to chase down a loose ball, and despite having sprint meter to spare, my player would just casually trot after it, usually failing to catch up to it despite definitely being capable of doing so.

Few things I noticed:

- Arena and Crowd lighting seems finally fixed and like real life
- Body Types seems a lot better
- CF looks terrific
- Unfortinately running animations still look bad

Also this trailer seems the blend of two different beta builds...anyone else noticed this?

BTW Finally Arena light is correct that means I won't probably need to adjust arena light (which means I have more time to focus on another aspects of modding)

looks nicer than last year. these guys make great trailers but this year's trailer looks way better

my useless opinion:
team color socks for all away jerseys or just the alternates?
lets hope that this isn't the case for the retro teams...
but knowing 2k for the last 10 years i'm guessing all the retro teams that are supposed to use black socks for away will instead be the team color 1.

good thing we can just change sock colors in edit player, RIGHT?
but knowing 2k, us changing the sock color easily is not allowed.
If i had to guess, 2k didn't touch any of the current retro teams in 2k17, and gave the 2k devs 6-8 weeks to make 16 new retro teams. basically not giving enough time to do a complete job. But, we shall see.

2k needs to find a few enthusiastic nba 2k pc modders that will go through the entire roster and make accurate textures/tendencies/gear/shoes/etc... for all players on the retro/current teams.
Then use that roster as a base for some years...
I know this is a small complaint compared to other aspects that need to be worked on, but this is the base of your game "the roster", why not make it the best that it can be?

either way i'll have this on day one, and will enjoy it till next year.

Is it me or are the courts exactly the same? I see no improvement in that area. They even use Raptors' outdated court from the 15-16 season. Not that I will cry too much about it because we have mods, but still.

I noticed there's a couple of moments where you can see NBA TV branding. (look on the arm of the hoop)

Is this something that's always been in the game or could this mean we are getting NBA TV presentation this year? It would make sense since it's easier to do than TNT (they already have the licensing) and some of the TNT guys do NBA TV as well.

The NBA TV logos were all over the stanchions in previous years. I don't think we're going there this year. The reason for that is because of Ronnie2k's instagram stories. The scoreboard looks 95% the same as in 2K17. When you pull a new colab with TNT or NBA TV, the first thing you do is you update the scoreboard.
